Birdie Rice (Variation)
Ingredients:
1 cup white rice
1 cup brown rice
1/2 cup barley
1/2 cup any other grain
About 1/2 cup each, grated:
Carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, apple, celery, anything else that is around...
Directions:
Put the above ingredients into a rice cooker. Add water according to the rice
cooker or 6 cups. Cook until done. Let cool and mash into ice cube-sized trays. Put this
into the freezer overnight. Pop them out into a zip-lock bag, and they are ready to
microwave as needed.
