Jimmy Buffett
Nissan Pavilion
August 3, 2006

Summer is officially here when Jimmy Buffett plays in Northern Virginia! Most years he comes mid-June, but this year came late (but anytime is the right time!).

Okay, it wasn't the DJ Feathers hospitality tent, but it was close!
Parrotheads as far as the eye can see.
Nissan Pavilion entry to the concert.
A new hybrid macaw observed in its natural environment.
DJ with fins up and beach ball ready (and aiming for the man 7 rows down front of us)
22,000 people ready to play.
Pre-concert warm-up, the T-shirt cannon.
Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band!
This was during one of our favorite songs.
Okay, every Jimmy Buffett song is a favorite song.
As the sun began to go down, the enthusiasm kept going up.
Two of the biggest Buffett fans, if you couldn't tell.
His latest song, at the time yet to be released, Party at the End of the World.
Imagine a standing ovation for three hours, start to finish.
A jumbo-tron TV close-up.
Fins to the Right!
What other performer ever has fans that go to this much effort?!
