Eclectus!
The Solomon Island Eclectus (Eclectus
roratus solomonensis) weighs between 390-430gr putting them on the
smaller side of the Eclectus parrots. Males are almost iridescent green
and the females are a bit larger with red and blue feathers.
The Grand Eclectus parrot (Eclectus roratus roratus)
are medium-sized parrots native to the Southern Moluccas islands of the
south Pacific.
They weigh in at 380-475 grams and are about 13-15 inches in length. Males
are a dark green color with red & blue underwing, and have a yellow
tipped tail. Their age ranges to 50-60 years.
