The Meyers Parrot (Poicephalus meyeri) weighs in at about 110
grams and reaches a size of about 8 inches. They are the smallest
members of the Poicephalus parrots. Their lifespan is up to 35 years.
Males and females look identical, and there is little personality
difference between them. They are great at mimicking sounds and will
learn to say a few words. A
