We held an Avitrim clinic (clipping of wing feathers and nails) for a local bird club and received a write-up in their monthly newsletter.

Jodie sent us this note a few days after getting her new baby.

Beckie sent this picture. We thought we lived in paradise, but Beckie and family have us beat (boats, birds, AND living in the Florida Keys!). Notice the pink tinge? It's not a new mutation - it's from playing with a toy after the regular tropical shower that passes through the Keys pretty much on schedule. Reggie is one LUCKY guy!

Cassandra sent in these candid shots:

(I caught love and Ali sleeping and took the pics, but Love woke up and eventually so did Ali as you can see) Love is a pretty spoiled little guy...

Cindy H. reports in:

Honey just loves her new toys! She hates it when I'm away, but happy when I come back from shopping in your aviary!

Here are all 5 birds I got from you the last time. Thanks for all you did for me this time and last time, and still do. You are always there when I need your help. You are a sweetheart.

Thought you might like to see what he is up to.  You can see how he likes to sleep.  My daughter has taken many, many more pictures....

Cindy sent us this update:

Our Dusky girl is doing great today.  Last night she was so cute, she placed herself in my lap while I typed away to you at the computer.  She snuggled right down and I did not hear another peep out of her until I got up this morning. She spent time on my desk eating nutriberries and playing before I headed for work.

Ken from NY reports excellent news!:

I just wanted to update you on Noel's feather condition and the affect of the Feather-Up. Those pictures are attached. I also wanted to say thank you for the additional Avi-Cakes! Noel & Ms. Piggy legislated it be cut in half for equality. Poor Blue Boy hasn't gotten any yet.

Julie writes from Idaho:

Dear Tammy,

Thank you so much for Fairfax and Virginia!  They are such beautiful and happy birds.  It is very apparent that these two little souls have been raised with love and affection.  It was so heartening, too to see them munching on broccoli, carrots, and lima beans, etc. instead of just burying their little heads into birdseed.  Fairfax was singing a little and appears to be the happy-go-lucky one of the five.  I just observed this when a bird flew by the window when they were on their tree, and he was the only one who didn't go to ground. These two aren't even ruffled by my 11 month son chortling at them, or my almost 3 year old daughter wheeling her stroller by the cage.

Tammy, thanks again - especially for all the times you talked to me, answered my questions, and sent me countless photos so I could feel closer to my birdies.   You have done a truly wonderful job raising these babies.  It will be an absolute joy to get one more from you to make my even "half dozen".
